So far we have reserved 20 twin rooms and 10 doubles for Friday 10th October,
32 twins and 68 doubles for Saturday 11th, and 20 twins plus 10 doubles for
Sunday 12th October. (The hotel has a maximum of 32 twins.) This is based on
the assumption that most people will turn up on the Saturday morning and depart
on Sunday late afternoon. If demand proves large enough, as of now (March 2008)
we can still reserve more rooms
Rooms cost £50 per night, whether twin or double or single occupancy of a double.
Continental breakfast costs £5.25 unless you stay 2 nights, in which case
breakfast is free.
To book a room in the Ibis: preferably post a cheque for £50 made out to
“Newcon” to our Treasurer Ian Pursey, 16 Albany Road, Northampton NN1 5LZ,
specifying FRI and/or SAT and/or SUN; also TWIN or DOUBLE.
(Smokers: see below.)
If you wish to pay using PayPal, we regret we must ask for a £2 booking fee to
cover PayPal’s 4% fee. Accordingly, please transfer £52, using this form:
If you are only staying for one night, all is now done!
If you are staying for more than one night, we will need the balance
(of either £50 more for 2 nights, or £100 more for 3 nights by cheque –
or £52/£104 by PayPal) by 31 August 2008. In the case of more than one
night, if we don’t receive the balance by 31 August we will release the
room and refund the £50 deposit.
If you request a twin room and these run out, we will reserve a double for
you, notifying you by e-mail, or by post if you have no e-mail address. "HB"
will appear after your name on the Membership List at the next updating,
meaning "Hotel Booked".
Members are responsible for any extras, such as breakfast, if only
staying one night.
Smokers please note: For the Friday and Sunday nights we have reserved 7
smoking rooms & 23 no-smoking rooms (although of course you aren’t obliged
to smoke in a room where smoking is permitted!) and for the Saturday we have
reserved the hotel’s total of 16 rooms where smoking is permitted, plus 84
no-smoking rooms. All smoking rooms are doubles, so if you indicate “Smoking”
on your room reservation you must also opt for a double room.
